Educational Accessibility: Technologies and Universal Design for Learning

ABSTRACT: The study "Educational accessibility: technologies and Universal Design for Learning" investigated how the assumptions of Universal Design for Learning, combined with technologies, favor the inclusion of all subjects in the learning process. The general objective was to understand the extent to which Universal Design for Learning, combined with technologies, promotes the inclusion of all students in Paranaguá's municipal schools. The specific objectives sought to deepen the theoretical and methodological concepts of Universal Design for Learning; to identify practices that enable interaction between technologies and Universal Design for Learning and to investigate methodologies that indicate the use of technologies and Assistive Technology by teachers in Paranaguá's municipal schools. The results obtained contributed to expanding knowledge about the effectiveness of inclusive pedagogical approaches, providing understanding for the implementation of more accessible and egalitarian educational practices, with a view to ensuring the inclusion and full development of all students.
