Abstract

This text aims to analyze the processes of productive restructuring and its influence on school education. Therefore, it is highlighted how the transformations of the productive system, Taylorism-Fordism and Toyotism, brought new demands for the formation of the modern worker, synthesized by the motto of learning to learn. In the final considerations, it is highlighted that the contemporary educational discourse is loaded with neoliberal ideologies that try to make the school an arm of the current productive system, demanding from civil society a position contrary to this setback.
