Abstract

ABSTRACT

Quantitative research aimed to analyze the conceptions of professionals from Basic Health Units of professors and students of a Public Institution of Higher Education in Alagoas about interpersonal relationships and their impacts on the process of teaching-service integration. A Likert type of attitudinal scale was built and validated, which was applied to professionals, professors and students. The results revealed that there was recognition of the importance of interpersonal relationships in the daily activities, as well as the teaching-service integration in the students' education process; however, the limited involvement of service professionals in the planning of actions and the insufficiency of practical scenarios, factors that can hinder the effective reception of students and result in inflexible attitudes, compromising interpersonal relationships and communication processes among service workers, professors and students.
