To think about curriculum and teaching practice is to understand the curriculum as a cultural construction directly linked to the form of social organization, so neither it nor teaching practices are neutral and impartial. Thus, we seek to discuss the curriculum field as a space for disputes and how teaching practices take place in this space. This article exposes school practices carried out in the state of Goiás in pandemic times. As the world faces the crisis caused by COVID-19, the educational system faces the challenge of continuing teaching and learning with remote classes. From a curricular perspective, we propose to analyze teaching practices. Difficulty in reaching all students in the state network is one of the realities that we teachers face. The excessive bureaucracy of remote education and the unpreparedness in the use of information technologies are other aspects that hinder the construction of knowledge. The research presents the experience of teachers in working with the challenge of maintaining the interest of students in non-classroom classes and, in addition, ponders about the difficulties of access faced by the school community.
