ABSTRACT
This article searches to synthesize a reflection on the literature about the deprofissionalization and precarization of the teaching work in order to materialize the "not professor" teacher’s activity inside the state schools of São Paulo. The educational policy reforms under way since the 1970s in the state of São Paulo, but amplified in the 1990s have intensified the teaching work by intensifying the precariousness in the conditions in which it occurs. Paradoxically, these reforms insist on the idea of ??professionalization through training, to guarantee the desired quality both in and of education, at the same time that it implements alternative hiring policies, promotes the social devaluation by repressing the movements of these professionals and cashing their wages. The accentuated process of social and economic devaluation, intensification and precariousness of work lead to a teacher malaise in the state public network of São Paulo that has led to the abandonment of the profession
