A modalidade de tênis de mesa e a realidade de um aluno em condição de deficiência da zona rural de um município goiano: um estudo de caso

The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of table tennis on the development of cognitive, social and educational aspects of students in a condition of disability through a descriptive research, carried out in a city in southwestern Guadean. The target population of the present study consisted of a student in a condition of disability through interviews, because it was observed that within the school context there is an inclusive education follow-up, in which students participate or not having special needs in the same activity, bringing numerous benefits to the physical and mental health of the practitioners, besides improving the quality of life. Thus, the practice of table tennis can help the teacher in the awareness of students, not only in physical education classes, but also in all fields of learning and life. It is concluded that inclusion implies a change of educational perspective, in addition the school is seen as a place of coexistence that allows the student to be continuously overcoming and socializing through the practice of table tennis in school, bringing several benefits such as improvement of reasoning, skills, balance and motor coordination.
