This study aims to describe the movements of the Federal Institute of Triângulo Mineiro (IFTM), from the regulation of the remote classes in consequence of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus (Covid-19), and the adopted measures to include students and minimize their difficulties within these processes. To develop this study, we carried out a qualitative analysis, resulting from bibliographic and documental research, starting from official documents that regulate the suspension and substitution of regular classes for remote classes, as well as an institutional survey carried out among the students about their mental health during the times of the pandemic. As a result of the research, IFTM appears to be on the way to transpose the difficulties given by the current pandemic situation, acting amid trials and errors. However, more objective actions carried out under the coordination of NAPNEs and related sectors would be relevant to improve the students’ quality of life during this moment of extreme exception, due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
