Condições físicas e materiais das salas de recursos multifuncionais do município de jacobina-ba

The objective of the paper was to know the perception of Special Education teachers, who work in the municipal schools of Jacobina / BA, about the physical and material conditions in multifunctional resources rooms, through a questionnaire applied to 14 teachers from the municipality of Jacobina, state of Bahia. Thus, according to the subjects interviewed, the elements of the physical and material structure evaluated demonstrate that there is still a long way to go so that teachers have a structure that can be considered ideal. The data presented and corroborated by several other researches made it clear that the poor quality regarding the physical and material structure of both the multifunctional resource rooms and the schools where they are located not only directly affects the teaching work and, consequently, the students' learning, as well as their own physical and mental health and the well-being of teachers.
