Abstract

The present article has intent of presenting a brief report on mathematician's life and philosopher Pitágoras, as well as to relate her main contributions to the mathematical world, being Pitágoras' Its theorem larger discovery. This way, this work intends to rescue character's origin and to describe the way runninged through until the famous theorem birth that carries your name. Ahead, essential is done for contextualization of the scenery lived by that, that for many is considered the first mathematician, and it also is of vanishes importance weave as if it developed the thesis that came to become the incontestable theorem widely knowledge in the world, corroborating thus its application in several situations problem of the everyday. The applied methodology in this work was developed from the data collection in books, scientific goods, specialized magazines, sites, documents, in other words, the research technique that was used was for documentary / bibliographic, because this checks the possibility of confront and study in several materials. I after study deepened about life and Pitágoras' Main Works meets a history surrounded by legends and myths, in which each part is essential and of vanishes importance, since that knows to your respect is very little.
