Training and Education: a reflection on the work of the soccer referee

Abstract: The reign of soccer culture in Brazil is undeniable. Reflect on the process of training and education of soccer referees as well as their work scenario. A bibliographical research was carried out, with an exploratory and descriptive approach, of a qualitative nature in the database of the electronic journals service offered by the Coordination of Personnel Development of Higher Level (Capes). Approximately 291 articles were found and sixteen articles were selected for reading and used in the elaboration of this article. In the unfolding of this reflection the daily training, preparation and updating of the professionals of the arbitration are useful to identify feelings of security and self-confidence demonstrated in the field, to show the mastery and knowledge of all the rules and the application of them in an ethical and disciplinary form of authority. There were many reflections on the training and work of the referee, but truly what remains is the adrenaline of the show, the deep marks of the warriors in the soccer arena.
