The work presents an interdisciplinary analysis about the free trade fair as a link between the city and the field from the perspective of two disciplines of the Course of Degree in Field Education, Psychology of Education I and Sociology and Education of the field. The research work was carried out by students of the 2nd Period and teachers of the Federal University of Goiás, Regional Catalão. For data collection, a semi-structured interview and photos were used. The analysis of the data was based on two sub-themes, "The Free Fair as Human Learning Space", content studied within the discipline Psychology of Education I and the "family agriculture and the free fair of the Ipanema Neighborhood as constitutive of the socioeconomic structure and political-ideological of capitalist society "in the discipline of Sociology and Field Education. The results obtained evidenced that the fair is rich in diversity, knowledge, collaborates for family agriculture and expresses learning in its various fields, individual, collective and cultural. It is characterized as a relation between field and city essential for both. The visit provided students with the opportunity to experience the fair and its struggle, to build more elaborate, meaningful knowledge and to build a critical and interdisciplinary vision of the struggles for their space in society
